Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Launches a Free App for KAH Publications

02-NOV-2014

Articles written by the out-spoken businessman philanthropist for all to share

Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, has just unveiled a new App for KAH Publications (http://khalafalhabtoor.net) to allow users to read and share his articles while on the move. The site provides readers with all the published material written by the outspoken businessman and philanthropist.

Al Habtoor’s articles voiced his concerns for the region and provide suggested solutions for some key issues threatening the safety and security of the Middle East. He also gives his highly-opinionated views on Western politics.

Some of this latest work include an articles on Dubai’s infrastructure, titled ‘Simply the Best’, which highlights the city state’s changing landscape “that’s undoubtedly the envy of the world” He writes, “Just when we think the emirate’s advancement has reached its limit, it never fails to go one better and surprise us.”

In another article he gives praise to one of the men he most admires – former US President Jimmy Carter.  Al Habtoor recently launched his ‘Pathways to Peace’ initiative alongside Carter at Illinois College, which he says is a “realistic approach to a peaceful co-existence between Israel and Palestine.”

He writes, “Having President Carter on board gives this initiative impetus and the gravitas it deserves. Thank you, Mr. President, for answering the call without hesitation and for being an outstanding leadership role model at a time when true leadership is sorely lacking worldwide. While you are out there, working hard to assist the poor and disenfranchised, unafraid to speak the truth about the plight of the Palestinians, others make meaningless diplomatic noises. Presidents, Prime Ministers and human rights organisations are big on talk but do anything to back-up their words. You make a difference.”

The App also features videos of the Chairman giving speeches at key events around the world, including his most recent keynote address at the C3 US-Arab Summit in New York: Righting the Wrongs: Democracy and Human Rights, and his speech at the Pathways to Peace initiative in Illinois.

It also gives research documents the Chairman is working on including his recently-launched Poverty Alleviation Plan to tackle global poverty.

Al Habtoor said, “I am pleased to launch the application for KAH Publications. I hope to reach further afield with this app as the issues and research covered is very important. I cannot just sit back and watch the world crumble around me. It is paramount that we tackle issues as they arise to protect our world for future generations.”

The App also points readers to his best-selling autobiography, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor – the Autobiography, which was launched last year. The book is available in three languages: English, Arabic and Hungarian.

The KAH Publications App is free to download from the iTunes App Store:   https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/kah-publications/id881457603?mt=8. This application is also available for Androids.
