Al Habtoor Group hosted an iftar for the orphaned children of Dubai Police employees as part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility. This event coincided with the celebration of Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, embodying the spirit of solidarity and generosity advocated by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah have mercy upon him.

The initiative, titled “With You in Ramadan,” was conducted in collaboration with the General Department of Human Rights in Dubai, aiming to provide support and assistance to the orphaned children of Dubai Police employees and their families during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event witnessed the participation of 40 members of Dubai Police employees’ orphaned children and their families, coming together over Iftar in a welcoming and socially cohesive atmosphere.

Mohammed bin Khalaf Al Habtoor, Vice Chairman and CEO of Al Habtoor Group, sponsored the event, which took place at the “MADE” café & eatery in Al Habtoor City and was attended by several prominent figures and senior officials, including Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Al Shaer, Deputy Director of the General Department for Human Rights in Dubai, and Brigadier General Dr Ahmed Al Saadi, Director of the Department for the Protection of Rights and Freedoms, along with Major Jassim Ali Buhendi, and Lieutenant Issa Al Qawadi, in addition to the initiative’s support team.

Mohammed Al Habtoor expressed his pleasure at hosting this iftar, which embodies the values of solidarity and mutual support encouraged by our religion and Arab culture. He also stressed the importance of supporting and appreciating the orphaned children of Dubai Police employees, praising their great sacrifices and dedication to serving the nation. He highlighted the pivotal role of companies in contributing to improving society and supporting disadvantaged groups while emphasizing the Al Habtoor Group’s continued commitment to providing assistance to society and fostering social and humanitarian bonds among its members.

This charitable event is a continuation of the ongoing humanitarian efforts made by the Al Habtoor Group in supporting the community and promoting social solidarity. It is not the first time that the group has hosted similar charitable events, as it previously hosted a group of orphans to attend the La Perle Dubai show and spend enjoyable times at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort.
