Al Habtoor Group (AHG) donated 15,000 iftar meals to be distributed to the needy and underprivileged in cooperation with Tarahum Charity Foundation. The initiative aims at consolidating the spirit of giving during the Holy month of Ramadan and is part of a series of charitable activities undertaken by AHG to help improve the lives of millions of people.
The iftar meals will be distributed throughout Ramadan, thanks to the efforts of the Tarahum Charity Foundation’s team that distributes around 500 iftar meals daily till the end of the Holy month.
Abdul Salam Marzooqi, Director of UAE Affairs and Community Relations, AHG said: “We proceed very carefully to choose our partners in charitable initiatives that we launch in the UAE and abroad. We are perfectly aware of the importance of these initiatives to promote solidarity among community members and give a helping hand to those in need.”
“The iftar meals’ initiative is one of the most important initiatives undertaken by Al Habtoor Group during the Holy month of Ramadan. AHG cooperates with several parties to distribute meals to the largest number of beneficiaries,” Marzooqi added.
So far this Ramadan, AHG distributed, in cooperation with local associations, 60,000 iftar meals to low-income and needy families across the Dubai emirate.
