Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founding Chairman, Al Habtoor Group received Her Excellency Sahar Nasr, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and International Cooperation at the Al Habtoor Group head office on Wednesday November 15, 2017. The Minister was accompanied by Abeer Ahmed Elkholy, Advisor of Investment and international cooperation for Arab Affairs and Khaled Abd El-Moneam Ahmed, Assistant to the Minister. Also present was Khaled Abou Bakr, a renowned Egyptian lawyer.
Her Excellency Nasr, who is in the UAE on a business trip, has met Chairman Al Habtoor several times previously, however, this was the first visit to his office. They discussed potential investments in Egypt. The minister said Egypt welcomes foreign investors and informed Al Habtoor about relaxed investment laws to encourage more investors to invest in the country.
Al Habtoor, who visits Egypt regularly, said, “It was a pleasure to receive Her Excellency Sahar Nasr. She is doing good things for Egypt to encourage more investment into the country.” He added, “I am very fond of Egypt, and consider it my home. It is my dream to one day have a project of the same magnitude as Al Habtoor City in Cairo.”
