Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founding Chairman, Al Habtoor Group met with HE Elena Kountoura, the Minister of Tourism from the Hellenic Republic at the Al Habtoor Group head office on Monday 24 April 2017.
Also present at the meeting was Michail Angelopoulus, Counsellor, Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister of Tourism, and Angeliki Chondromatidou, Director of the office of the Minister of Tourism. Those present from the Al Habtoor Group were Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice-Chairman & CEO, Hadi El Kadi, Group General Counsel and KP Rajan, Group Financial Advisor.
They discussed the economic climate in Greece and the tourism sector in the country. They also talked about potential investment opportunities in Greece and large-scale projects currently underway in the country.
Al Habtoor said the Group is always looking at sound investments abroad. “If a good opportunity presents itself we will conduct the necessary feasibility studies to ensure its success.”
