Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman, Al Habtoor Group welcomed a delegation from Lebanon who came to wish him well over the Holy month of Ramadan on Monday 20 June 2016.
The delegation included prominent Shiite cleric Sheikh Ali El Charif Mohammed El Amine, Sheikh Khaldoun Oraymet, who is Secretary General of the Higher Sharia Council in Lebanon, and Sheikh Mohammed Hassan Ali El Amine.
The delegation passed on their well-wishes to Chairman Al Habtoor and thanked him for his ongoing support in Lebanon. The Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation recently distributed thousands of food parcels to those in need across Lebanon. They also praised Al Habtoor for his strong belief in the country and his ongoing support through investments in Lebanon.
Al Habtoor thanked the delegation for their visit and said he hopes Lebanon to see security and stability return to Lebanon. “We cannot allow it to slip back into civil war. The Lebanese people have suffered for far too long, yet they remain resilient, generous and hospitable. Lebanon deserves to prosper once more.”
He praised the group for working together for the betterment of the country. “You set a good example to everyone,” he said.
