Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, has welcomed many visitors to his Majlis on Al Wasl Road over the Holy Month of Ramadan. In the past week the well-known businessman and philanthropist greeted several prominent visitors, including politicians, ambassadors, religious leaders, businessmen, family and friends.
Among them, Al Habtoor welcomed Dr Abraham Mar Julios, Metropolitan Bishop of Eparchy of Muvattupuzha of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church in India; Pastor Marcus Estephanos, the Head of the Coptic Church in Dubai, and Sheikh Malek Al-Sha’ar, Mufti of Tripoli and the Northern Lebanon.
Al Habtoor said, “Ramadan is a perfect example of our everyday lives in the United Arab Emirates, where all religions live in harmony. We share our celebrations as one.”
He also welcomed several high-profile diplomats including His Excellency Shauwkat Aziz, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan who served from 2004-2007, and His Excellency Jean-Paul Tarud-Kuborn, Ambassador of Chile to the UAE.
